Footie Relief at the End of a Long Week
It was an especially grueling workweek this week, so it's feels especially good to settle into my favorite armchair to enjoy some footer this morning. We start with Liverpool on the South Coast to meet Bournemouth. I'll take a Scouse slaughter in that one. That's followed with the usual 10am fixtures, including Chelsea visiting struggling Leicester on USA and my beloved Leeds hosting Brighton on The Cock. We end up at 12:30 with Palace, who have recently been dragged back into the relegation race, hosting Man City. Another away in that one, please!
Join me for all the thrills and chills, eh?

Bloody hell - Solanke has put Bournemouth into the lead with a well-timed header. 1-0!
Good morning Bob. Sorry about the goal, but it was a goal from Phil that didn't get top Billing from you.
Cherries now up to sixteenth place and replaced by Leeds in the drop zone. Sorry, mate.
Half-time: Last weekend Liverpool scored seven against United. Of course, they're shitting the bed this weekend against Bournemouth (sigh)...
Morning, David - how's the week been for you. Did you get the results back?
Good morning Bob. It's been a good week, thank you for asking. How about you? I'm supposed to get the call on Tuesday.
Agreed I was thinking the same. This must be giving you the Cherry squirts.
Penalty from SALAH nearly hits the corner flag. Really awful.
And now Salah misses a penalty? Why?!
Bob, I read about the penalty miss and the hand ball decision on page 363 of Wealth of Nations. Did you?
Back in my chair for the start of the match at Elland Road after some shoveling in the driveway. Come on!
LOL! Nice Adam Smith reference, mate!
I would have ordinarily said that this was a must not lose match but now that Bournemouth have won and Everton are leading early doors, it's now a must-win.
That's better - Chelsea have taken the lead against Chelsea.
Spurs had a goal disallowed against Forest earlier. Good signs there.
Lovely - Harry Kane has scored against Forest. So at least Leicester and Forest are behind. Now we just need a result here.
Harry Kane and Abel to provide some relief, mate.
Cheers, mate. On page 364 of Wealth of Nations I read that there won't be a Bayah because a really poor penalty is no a SALAH. Is that an economic theory?
Sorry about the goal from the Scotch- Argie
Leeds second from bottom. If they lose then they go bottom if Saints win at OT tomorrow. Let's tie it up
Back from some diaper duty - we're still in with a shot of winning this one. Just need another strike from LB.
As things stand right now, we're second bottom just edged out on goal difference by West Ham.
The atmosphere at Elland is a cauldron of noise now!
Oh no! It's gone in for Brighton again! A really messy goal, probably an o.g. from Jack.
Brighton have really turned the screw in the last ten minutes or so.
Cue the hero - Rodrigo! Come on, Rodders!
Gnonto and McKennie also coming on.
Bamford, Roca, and Summerville.
Welly about to come on for the Seagulls now.
Great save by Meslier from Marsch.
How was the diaper duty? A case of the Cherry squirts, LOL?
Oh - great stop by Meslier from Welly as Brighton cut us open again.
Lots of cherry squirts, mate - we've had them on prunes for the past few days because of constipation. It's all coming out today.
Brighton cut through us again - terrible tackle from Wober. Should have scored. It'll be a miracle if we get anything from this one.
Brighton look dangerous every time they go forward.
