Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Teams coming back out for the second half now.
West Ham are directly below us in 17th, having scored fewer goals, so of course I need a Chelski win today.
The teams on display at the
London Stadium:
West Ham United: Fabianski, Coufal, Kehrer, Ogbonna, Aguerd, Emerson, Rice, Paqueta, Benrahma, Bowen, Antonio.
Subs: Hegyi, Anang, Johnson, Fornals, Lanzini, Downes, Ings, Soucek.
Chelsea: Kepa, James, Silva, Badiashile, Cucurella, Fernandez, Madueke, Felix, Loftus-Cheek, Mudryk, Havertz.
Subs: Bettinelli, Azpilicueta, Chilwell, Chalobah, Chukwuemeka, Gallagher, Mount, Ziyech, D Fofana.
Chelski have a free kick now.
Oh - nearly there.
Mason Mount being prepared.
Danny Ings also coming on shortly - both teams going for it.
This match is still very much in the balance now. Come on, you Blues!
!-1 in the end. Not great, as it means that WH leapfrog us into 15th on 20 points. But it could have been worse if the Soucek goal had stood.
Good Morning, Bob. Just got back from walkies. Thanks for getting us started. Sorry about the result. Chelsea was denied a stonewall penalty where Tommy Soucek did his best peter Cech impersonation, yet the ref and Var waved it away. I'm sure you must be frustrated about that decision.
Next is a relegation six pointer on Born in the USA.Saints vs Wolves where a draw is probably the best result for you and the next best probably a Saints win
You must have thought Soucek was Peter Effin Shilton with that brilliant save. Really great impersonation. How wasn't that a penalty? VAR is such an effin joke!
Next up are the 10am matches. The main match of interest is Soton v. Wolves, where we'll need a draw.
The match from St. Mary's is underway
We agree about the best result . Great minds think alike
GOAL! ALCARAZ GIVES SAINTS THE LEAD
That Saved was a great strike off the post after his initial shot was blocked.
Now Lemina is sent off for Saints. That will give Wolves a great chance to equalize
Sorry for Wolves. Not great news against his former club. That helps Saints. I think it was a second yellow where he talked himself into the book
Saints now off the foot of the table ahead of Cherries and now only a point behind Leeds
Willian has given the Cottagers the lead vs Forest
Foxes have come from behind to take a 2-1 lead vs Spuds. Betyancur haver Spuds the lead then Mendy and the Fourth President scored for Foxes
Morning, David - thanks for joining me. I'm just out of the shower and see that Soton are still leading. Not helpful to the Leeds cause at all. And it's not great that Lemina got himself sent off.
Wahay! Wolves have equalized! Very helpful!
Just back from second walkies. Surprised the ten men equalized. Great news for you.
Same score at the EM. Steve will not be pleased. Leo Trossard gave Gunners the lead then Ivan Toney equalized.
Harvey Barnes has given the Foxes a 4-1 lead as it's mashed potatoe time.,
In the M23 Derby also 1-1. Solly March in February gave the Seagulls the lead then James Thomkins equalized
GOAL !the ten men come from behind to taker a 1-2 lead late on.
Joao Gomez on his debut after some comical defending from Saints. Two Saints defenders collide going for the ball the Bednarek blocked from Gomez then a nice finish from Gomez
Recent Israeli signing, Manor Solomon, has put the Cottagers two up vs Forest
The results are not really going our way today. That late Wolves goal means that they move on to 23 points, four points better than us and three better than WH who drop back down to 16th.
Hoping Newcastle can do the business against the Cherries. Eddie Howe going home today.
My Howe it's not a good homecoming for Eddie . Now really not going your way. Cherries one up a few minutes before the half
GOAL ! MICKEY ALMIRON TIES IT UP IN STOPPAGE TIME,.
It's 1-1 at the half
Neto had saved a shot from one of the Long Staff Brothers and Almiron put away the rebound
