I'm constantly amazed by that free kick that Ronaldo scored. It's more incredible than the strike that Roberto Carlos hit against France in the Tournoi because you could understand the physics of that one. He just hit it sweetly with the outside of his left boot and it swung a hell of a lot because the ball was lightweight. But Ronaldo's - I just don't physically get it. With the way that he struck it, you'd expect that it would have kept rising, but it went up and then down again with pace. I don't get it at all.

I am amazed. It takes the keeper right out of it because the keeper has to cover a conventional strike that swings toward the left side a la Beckham and if Ronaldo notices the keeper cheating that way and he can hit it straight up and down like that, the keeper has no chance at all.
