Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

The Special One on WSD Tomorrow!

The boys on the Fox Football Fone-in have been hinting rather broadly that Jose Mourinho will be interviewed in the second hour of tomorrow's World Soccer Daily. If you have access to Sirius, you can tune in live from 2 p.m. EST. If not, you download the podcast from 3 p.m. onward. Should be a corker of an interview!

What a disappointment. If you haven't twigged to it yet, the "Jose" that appeared on WSD today was not The Special One but the geezer who does the Mourinho voice on Setanta Sports.

Shocking. I thought that they were going to break some big news about Jose going to Inter or Milan or Barca or something.

Steven Cohen, acting like a tosser? Goodness me, what a shock. I can only imagine a bigger disappointment if the Easter Bunny doesn't get my temporary change of address form so that he hops by Wilmington this Sunday.

Yeah, I'm a complete sap. I suppose I should've twigged to it, but they've had a good record in the past year getting people like Martin Tyler and Lexi Lalas to come on the show. But Jose certainly would've been a major get. They've been badgering Becks to come on FFF or WSD, but Goldenballs has better protection than Obama these days. No chance.
