Stars of the future
I meant to post this earlier, but forgot. Football writers were asked their opinion of who from the young players in the Prem they thought were promising. Something for all LOBbers here:

All I can say is "Hands off our Fabian!"
I don't think half of these players will make it big time.
I am not saying that they won't play in the lower reaches of the Prem but they won't be stars.
These stars of the future never seem to pan out
There's always that chance. It's also possible, especially in our case that they won't succeed until they move from Arsenal. That said Wilshere and Lansbury and Hoyte, noted here, look remarkably poised when you see them, and given that our weaknesses are well known and therefore subject to price inflation for anyone to plug the gap during the transfer window, they are more likely to feature now.
I quite like that Aaron Ramsey as well. I'd have him at the Elland for a loan spell, ta very much.
