Up the Hammers!
I'm over yesterday's funk over the Millwall defeat and back this afternoon looking forward to following today's fixtures. Gianfranco Zola's been in a funk recently too, but he and the Happy Hammers might get a tonic today in the form of three points against Mick McCarthy's Wolves side. Join me for that one and plenty of other action!

There's one match of import in L1 tonight. It's Colchester v. Brentford. A win for Colchester would push them to 66 and within a point of Swindon in fifth place.
This afternoon's Championship and L1 fixtures have kicked off.
The West Ham v. Wolves starts up at 4pm EST

Cal is a SMART kid!!
Forsest beating Palace 1-0
They are going for 12 home wins in a row. Tying Cloughie's lot. He did it over two season. This run is in the same season
Rats!
Looks like I missed Johnno
WOW!!
UNBELIEVABLE!!
Scott Park breaks through and curls it around the keeper but it hits the inside of the post and goes across the line but not in. He gets to the rebound and the keeper dives and saves it i on the line!
Half time at Upton Park
West Ham 0 Wolves 1
Not good so far
COME ON YOU HAMMERS!
Carlisile play Southampton at Wembley this Sunday.
Should have been Leeds!
I have to go off to college
Best of luck in the second half John
Take care everyone
UWS
Hello everyone. I am back just in time for the beginning of the second half.
West Ham 0 Wolves 1 . Is the beginning of the end for Zola. Wolves just off an excellent draw at Villa Park.
Scott Parker nice through ball for Carlton Cole, but Marcus Hahnemann out quickly to save at the feet of Cole. Wolves have won away to West Ham only three times in their history. The last time in 1978 with goals by Rafferty and Carr. West Ham were relegated that year. Is history to repeat itself?
Diamanti with a left footed shot from about 30 yards comfortably saved by Hahnemann.
GOAL!!!West Ham 0 wolves 2 A goal by Ronald Zubar tucked away in the corner after a nice through ball by David Jones. The move started by the Hammers giving away possession cheaply near their corner flag. Zola one step closer to the sack.
Now West Ham 0 Wolves 3. A goal by Matt Jarvis. Hammers fans leaving the stadium by the thousands. I think this could be Zola's last match if the Hammers get thrashed.
Guillermo Franco for Benni McCarthy. The Hammers last substitution and Stephen Ward on for Matt Jarvis as Wolves make a substitution. Last throw of the dice by the Hammers. Zola biding his time as the end nears. Just put him out of his misery.
Hahnemann saves well from Franco. Better from the Hammers. Too little too late. The corner is fisted by Hahnemann to the half way line.
Hey MUR,
I am in my college class and none of the students have showed up yet.
Unbelievable score at Upton Park!
Bob will be pleased that Colchester is still drawing
Ipswich losing at home to lowly Plymouth
The Toon winning at Doncaster
Forest two up and about to win 12 home games on the trot... shame they have lost 7 on the trot on the road!
Students are coming in
Better go
Take care
UWS
Hey UWS. What college class do you teach? Even though Zola has two games to prove himself, The Hammers board may decide enough is enough after this performance.
Talke care UWS. No change in the score at Upton Park.
Latest scores Brentford 3 Colchester 3 and Blackpool 5 Swansea 1. No other changes in the score lines.
Goal West Ham 1 Wolves 3 Franco with a consolation goal in the third minute of injury time. Too little too late for the Hammers and Zola.
The final whistle. West Ham 1 Wolves 3 . Three vital away points for Wolves in their fight against relegation. West Ham suffer a humiliating home defeat and are the thick of the relegation battle. The first time this season that Wolves have scored more than three in the EPL this season. I will see everybody later. Cheers.
Thanks for keeping the home fires burning today, lads. It was another crazy day at work. I'm hoping for some peace and quiet during the big matches tomorrow.
Condolences to Johnno for that Hammers loss. It's looking like you'll be needing another Tevez-like miracle end to the season again.
