John Terry Hangs Up His England Boots
One day before the FA takes its anticipated action against serial racial abuser John Terry, JT has decided to retire from international footie. That is, he's gone before being pushed. And good riddance to him. I'd much prefer that the so-called Golden Generation buggered off and made way for the next generation. Despite their massive egos and inflated paychecks, they never won anything and my hope is that the likes of Joe Hart, Gary Cahill, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck can do a better job for us.
Your thoughts, gents?

I read about it last night and thought to myself it's about bleedin' time. He is a talented defender now past his peak, but never really did it at international level. He never properly represented his country the way a proper skipper should and was a constant source of embarrassment with his crappy attitude and his racial abuse . I agree that it's time to push him and his fellow golden generationers along, who massively underachieved.I agree that the younger generation needs to be given a chance, but am not so sure that they will do any better. We shall see.
