It's a quite Sunday, but there are two Midlands Derbies.First, it is forest vs Derby County in an East Midlands Derby followed by Villa vs West Brom in a West Midlands Derby on FSC. Come join us!

Derby County lead 0-1 at Forest. Dexter Blackstock was sent off in the opening minute of the first half. He should be suspended next weekend , giving him a rest before he plays for Antigua vs the U.S.Nine minutes later Craig Bryson gave Derby County the lead.
Derby County have won 0-1 at ten man Forest. Derby move up to 12th place while Forest fall to 17th.
Next, West Brom host Villa in a West Midlands Derby . It's a sign of the times that the Baggies are overwhelming favorites where a win puts the Baggies in an unlikely third place position ahead of Manchester United. Villa need a win too as they are one point above the drop zone.

I am back . Five minutes in and Shane Long misses a sitter as a crosses was headed to Long , who headed wide from two Yards out with an empty net in front of him.

The free kick is headed away and it halftime and 0-0 from Villa Park. Not many chances. but Villa were the slightly better team. Brett Holman had two shots saved from Guzan while Shane Long missed a sitter in the fifth minute. The Baggies have scored six of their seven goals in the second half.
Billy Jones went down the tunnel, injured, just before halftime, so that is two enforced changes for Steve Clarke. Gabriel Tamas , the Romanian international, will come on for Jones at the beginning of the second half.

If West Brom were to win by four or more goals then the Baggies would move ahead of Everton on goal difference into second place . Someone would want a Villa win too.

SHANE LONG HAS JUST GIVEN THE BAGGIES THE LEAD. iT STARTED FROM THE WEST BROM BOX AS JIM MORRISON WAS PUT THROUGH DOWN THE RIGHT AND HIS CROSS WAS CLEARED BY VLAAR AND COMICALLY WENT INTO THE BACK OF THE NET OFF OF LONG.
