Stoke vs Chelsea kicks off at 3 PM on NBCSN. If Chelsea lose then Citeh go top of the table . Sound familiar? It would turn the PPP table upside down too. If Stoke win then Sparky Hughes would become the first manager to defeat Jose three times in the Prem. I would love to see that. Join me if you can.

Afternoon, mate - are you pulling for Stoke today?
The teams lining up in the tunnel at the Britannia now:

Here's an interesting angle on tonight's affair. If Stoke were to win 1-0, Chelski and Citeh would be in a dead heat at the top of the charts for Christmas.
I could use a hat-trick from my GBB Diego Costa tonight to improve my PPP ranking.

Diego Costa is down and jeers from the home fans. He was sandwiched between Shawcross and Nzonzi.
Phil Bardsley is booked for a nasty foul on Hazard that could have been a red. Poor by Chelsea players trying to get him sent off.
Courtois does well to turn a deflected effort from Nzonzi around the post. Now the ref has to call over Nzonzi and Matic for some afters.
A header from Crouch off the corner is cleared then Bojan dribbles through the Chelsea defense and passes to Walters , who has a shot blocked for a corner that is cleared.
Stoke with a lengthy spell of possession.
Fab finds Hazard on the break as he wins a corner off of Bardsley that started when a long throw from Cameron was headed away.

A cross from Charlie Adam was just too high for Walters. He may have scored if he had made contact.

GOAL !!! FAB PUTS CHELSEA TWO UP. CHELSEA WERE STROLLING THE BALL ABOUT THEN HAZARD PLAYED A SLIDE RULE PASS TO FAB , WHO TURNED SHAWCROSS THEN SWIVELED TO SCORE WITH A SCUFFED FINISH PAST BEGOVIC IN THE CORNER.
