Well, we're down to sixteen teams . The top three are out. We start with the Wests as the Baggies host the Hammers. Next, it's a return to Ewood Park for Mark Hughes while the high flying Rams host the Reading Railroad at the same time. The late one is Palace vs Liverpool. The remaining matches are tomorrow and Monday

They're off from the Hawthorns
Chris Brunt fouls Mark Noble just outside the box.
The free kick from Aaron Cresswell too high . Not a Noble effort as the Baggies could have born the brunt of it.
A shot from Jim Morrison is blocked by James Thompkins and comes off Kevin Nolan's arm. That could have been a penalty. I've seen them given.

The free kick is lined up a yard behind the D right in the center. The free kick was blasted over by Valencia when placement is required that close to goal.

The Craigs have it as a cross field ball by Craig Gardener was misjudged by Aaron Cresswell and Craig Dawson played a pass across the box that was easily put away by Brown Ideye.
A shot from Jim Morrison from just outside the box is straight at Adrian but fumbled over. Off the corner, Brown Ideye goes down theatrically off a tackle from Kevin Nolan. Martin Atkinson was having none of it as he was lucky not to be booked for diving.

Hammers fans will be disappointed in the manner in which they conceded the goal. Mark Noble was tackled in midfield and the ball broke to Berhino , who laid it off for Jim Morrison to do his thing and perhaps close the doors on the Hammers FA Cup hopes.

Chris Brunt made a great run down the left. playing a nice one two with Jim Morrison. Brunt played a pass across the box that was missed by Brown Ideye. The ball broke to Sess and his cross deflected off of Aaron Cresswell and was headed in by Brown Ideye from close range.
Captain Morgan Amalfitano is on for Kevin Nolan. Fat Sam was getting ready to make that substitution just before that goal. It may be too late.
OH!!! The first attempt on target for the Hammers and nearly a goal as a tasty cross from Amalfitano was headed by Sakho and Foster, who had not been forced into action makes the save of the season from that powerful hear . He dove acrobatically to save then Gareth MacAuley cleared off the line.

It goes from bad to worse for the Hammers as Morgan Amalfitano as he's booked for a nasty foul on Chris Brunt then seconds later is sent off for a second yellow for pushing Chris Brunt in the face. Stupid from Captain Morgan and not what Fat Sam sent him on to do.

The Hammers took the free kick short straight off the red card. Eight passes later , Craig Dawson found Berahino behind the Hemmers defense and he beat Adrian at the near post.

The Reading Railroad won 1-2 at Pride Park thanks to a late goal by the Yak with a great finish . His first FA Cup goal in eight years. I thought he had retired. The Rams were not helped by the fact that Stepehn Warnock was sent off in the first half.

In the late match, Liverpool came from a goal down at the half to win 1-2 at Selhurst Park. They join Blackburn, West Brom, and the Reading Railroad in the quarters
