We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Uwe Rosler in at Elland Road!

Leeds United have appointed their fifth boss in less than a year - cor! The new gaffer with the poisoned chalice is the Teutonic Bomber Uwe Rosler, best known for his spells at Man Citeh as both player and later manager. I would have preferred Gus Poyet, but Rosler is at least a fairly big name who might attract some fresh talent to Elland Road. I'm cautiously hopeful.

Your thoughts, gents?

It's hard to determine this one. He has the potential to take Leeds to the Promised Land,but it's not guarantee. I hope it works out at ER. If not , there's always John Carver or David Hokaday. Oh what a day!

Chances are with Cellino still at the helm that Uwe doesn't have a lot of time to succeed. He'll need to get off to a winning start in August or he'll be for the chop.
