Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Rosler Out, Evans in at Leeds!

Dear oh dear. It's another week of turmoil at my beloved Elland Road, as Uwe Rosler has been sacked after only two months of the season. I had a feeling that our string of tough fixtures might put him under pressure with Cellino, but I was hoping that he might get until at least Christmas to prove himself. Cellino isn't a patient man, though, as we've seen from his sacking five managers in the last twelve months. Next up is former Rotherham boss Steve Evans (pictured here in sombrero).

My fear is that this upheaval is going to tip us into a relegation battle for the rest of the season. We should be better than the bottom three but it will likely be a white-knuckle ride for us, counting every point (11 points from 11 matches at present) and looking over our shoulders. Not fun (sigh)....

Stunning how Leeds just can't get it right. Struggling in the Championship so fire your manager and nick the manager from Rotherham.... second bottom in League 1!!!

He's also been quoted saying this.....
Steve Evans 2013, quote "Leeds are but a big club, they used to be, now they are just a circus run by puppets, watched by blinkered seals. I would turn it down, I want to be the captain of a cruise liner not the titanic". ... Fast forward 2015 Steve Evans the new Leeds manager

I feel for you Bob

I give Evans about a month to get the wrong side of Cellino. We could easily be looking for another new manager come Christmas.
