Hiya, last match of this Nation's League lark. Maitland-Niles named as a starter, so I hope he sails through unevenfully.
Who was with me on that host nations club bus to see the Danes and England all those years ago?
Good afternoon, Bob and Steve. How is everyone today.
I went on the Host Nation's club bus to see some matches but never watched the Danes
I remember that their side had Alan Simonsen. I can't remember anything else.
Afternoon, guys - glad to have you on board for this one. Here are the teams enjoying the anthems at Wembley now:
England: Pickford, James, Maitland-Niles, Walker, Coady, Maguire, Rice, Phillips, Kane, Mount, Rashford.
Denmark: Schmeichel, Kjaer, Christensen, Skov, Delaney, Braithwaite, Eriksen, Dolberg, Wass, Poulsen, Hojbjerg.
Lovely fall afternoon here in Fred-town - hope everyone else is enjoying that as well.
The teams will wrap up this nations league campaign next month then WC qualifying should start in the Spring

I agree with Bob . They're like friendlies and even many managers are treating these like friendlies by playing weakened teams. The only difference is three teams will qualify through the NL back door. The other difference is in friendlies a player can play for another country if his only caps are in friendlies. Once he plays an NL: match he's committed to that country since the NL is considered to be official matches

Steve, the one player that comes to mind is a Norwegian named Odegaard with Real. He was supposed be the next Messi. He's 21, but has been loaned to two Dutch clubs and Real Sociedad. I was present for those matches with Adu and I could see immediately that it was complete hype. I am also pretty convinced that Adu is older than his papers say he is. I could tell that he was older because I could see the difference in his adult development from Eric's who was a similar age. No way is Freddy'e birth certificate kosher.
