Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

The Quarter Finals

Here is the draw for the Sixth Round

Sheffield United/Middlesbrough vs Cardiff City
Manchester United vs Portsmouth
Bristol Rovers vs West Bromich Albion
Barnsley vs Chelsea

United get to play a Premiership team for an eleventh time in a row. I am pleased Chelsea are on the road!!

Your thoughts?

I reckon that West Brom have a decent shot at the final at this point. They should be able to handle Bristol Rovers in the quarters and if they get lucky with the draw, they might well be going to Wembley, knees all a trembly.

No.
Here is the synopsis of the show

06:00 Breakfast
5 live Breakfast joins thousands of Americans as they raise the Stars and Stripes and prepare for another working day as part of the War on Terror. Nicky Campbell and Rachel Burden are live from RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk, home of the Liberty Warriors - the 48th Fighter Wing of the United States Air Force. They'll join an F15 Strike Eagle fighter as it heads out on patrol, find out what life is like for American service personnel based in the UK and assess what the locals make of their presence.
