Transfer Deadline Day!
The end of the January transfer window is nigh, my friends, so I thought I'd post this thread to follow the furious goings-on tomorrow. It's been a relatively quiet January so far with Gary Cahill's move to Chelski the most notable, along with a spate of Yanks now on loan around the league. Let's hope things get a bit more interesting in the morning. Stay tuned!

Arsene.....Arsene.....Arsene.....Arsenne? (sounds of crickets)
So, who's your dream buy this January, Gooner?
Wayne Bridge has successfully made a move to Sunderland this morning, which must mean that big Nik Bendtner will be hitting on his girlfriend by tea-time.
Well, Gooner will like this one. Andrei Arshavin has been shopped back to Russia to join Anzhi Makhachkala, wherever the hell that is.
Well, it's 2pm GMT and so far Cap'n Birdseye has resisted the temptation of selling the entire LUFC store. We did lose Jonny Howson to Norwich earlier in the window and Andy Keogh has gone off to Millwall after his loan spell with us. No big loss there.
We have picked up an England U-21 right back Adam Smith on loan from Spurs. Not a bad move.
Manchester United are on the brink of snaring former Switzerland Under-17 skipper Frederic Veseli from Manchester City, according to reports. Why?
A lot of Twitter buzz about Jermain Defoe - UWS's favorite ball-hog - joining Liverpool. So, King Kenny may be going for a Little and Littler strike partnership.
Well, things are really heating up now, especially at Spurs. Corluka is out to Bayer Leverkusen. And it looks more and more as if the Ball Hog is on his way out too, with Luis Saha replacing him in the Spurs attack.
Looks as if Carlos Tevez is staying put at Citeh for the meantime. AC Milan have pulled back in their interest - and who would blame them?
Fairly big news - Djibril Cisse has joined QPR for an undisclosed sum.
Bugger - this is the news that worries me:
"Sky Sports understands at least two clubs are ready to make bids for Leeds United star Robert Snodgrass. They need to hurry up...there are less than seven hours left in this window."
We've just passed the 6pm GMT hour, so six hours left to hang onto Snoddy and the rest of the LUFC squad. Crossing my fingers.
