Dangerous corner routine there deep to Smalling at the backpost. Young nearly had a shooting chance. Good stuff from the boys.
Oh - and Cahill nearly scored from the resulting corner. Got to the near post undetected and almost directed it in.

Oh - Robben got the best of Richards there and he was able to get a shot off that Hart beat out well. Robben seems the main danger man here.
A quarter of an hour gone and it's been even stevens so far. Chances at both ends but also a lot of cagey prodding and defensive structure.
Stewart Robson wants more urgency in the passing. If it were Pleat, he'd be calling for "surging balls."
