Tuesday in the Prem
If it's a Tuesday afternoon, there is a slate full of tasty Premier League matches on tap. At 1pm EST, we have the mid-table affair between Wolves and Arsenal on NBC Sports and the relegation dogfight between Sheffield United and West Brom on Peacock. At 3pm, we've got Man Utd v. Southampton on NBC Sports and the bottom half clash between Palace and Newcastle on Peacock. Sadly, I've got a busy work day, so I won't be able to watch all of it. But I thought I'd post a thread and drop in when I can. Enjoy the footer!

Afternoon, David - happy to have you on board for this afternoon. I'm in and out today with the semester starting tomorrow.
GOAL !!! SAKA GIVES THE GUNNERS THE LEAD
The goal is disallowed for offside . Still 0-0. No wonder why I thought it was a goal. I missed the pass for the goal while reading La Cazette Ball played wide left to Smith-Rowe and headed on by Holding prior to that missed pass and great finish, but sadly offside
Cheers, Bob. Glad you are round. Completely understandable as you have the new semester starting tomorrow . Wishing you a successful semester
I missed that last foul but read in La Cazette that Joao Moutinho was booked for a nasty challenge
Thanks, mate - I really appreciate it. How is your week going? Did that bank issue get sorted out for your father-in-law?
Meanwhile in the loser's bowl David Mc Goal Rock shoots straight at Sam Johnstone
The Gooner will be delighted with that early goal. Wolves are in real trouble now.
Thanks for asking . I've had better weeks. The bank issue is almost sorted out. His two savings account have a hold due to a bounced check my sister-in-law wrote. It's under investigation, but we pretty much know that's what it was. Not a happy camper because it affects all of us

A point is probably the best result for me in the Loser Bowl today. That would keep both sides where they need to be - cut off from the rest of us.
Rui Patricio does well to turn over a near post powerful shot from Pepe
As long as the Baggies don't win then that will be success. Still 0-0 in that match , but the Evil Blades have been the better side

Nice cross from Phyllis Lindstram , but Billy anything but Sharp as he heads well wide in the six yard box
GOAL!!MATTY PHILLIPS GIVES THE BAGGIES THE LEAD
Calamitous defending and goalkeeping from the Evil Blades. That goal looked like something out of L2.
It came on the following possession against the run off a play off a nice double save from Ramsdale, first from Cally Robinson, then off new loanee , Diagne, then Matty Phillips easily tapped in from a couple of yards out
Baggies leading despite the Evil Blades dominating the first half
I blame the Evil Blades defenders, but not much Ramsdale could have done. He really didn't get any help from his defense and the shots were fairly powerful with a wet ball
Into stoppage time at Molineaux. An LOB blogging duo of those minutes as there are at Bramall Lane
John Fleck called for a foul on fellow Scot, Snoddy
PENALTY WOILVES IN THE FINAL SECOND OF THE HALF . NICE THROUIGH BALL FROM DANNY PODENCE AND SIDESHOW BOB CALLED FOR A TRIP AND MAY BE SENT OFF FOR BEING THE LAST MAN
Baggies one up at the half

Canaries being held 0-0 at the half at the Evil Den

Palace lead 1-2 at SJP at the half
United singing a victory song as they lead by a Barber Shop Quartet at the half
I'm quite happy with those scorelines at the moment. I suppose a draw in the Peacock match at SJP would be preferable but I won't be bitty about it.
If United were to score ten more in the second half, they'd be top again!
Another gift of the United scoreline is that Leeds have suddenly jumped into 11th, albeit on goal difference!
Accrington Stanley now lead Bristol Rovers 6-1. Dion Charles with a hat-trick and Colby Bishop with a brace. Stanley need two more goals to replace the Black Cats in the last playoff spot
